7/22/2009 · Its my main water system. We have the timer set on off (water and heating) but still have hot water. Its gas fired and as far as I know we have no emursion switch. When I turn the mains switch off everything goes silent but generally I can't hear the water tank making any noise but the gas boiler does fire up and make noise.
